Our Commitment
Danton Medical Clinic respects the privacy of patients, visitors, and website users. As an Ontario healthcare clinic, we handle personal health information with care and follow applicable privacy duties under Ontario health privacy law.
Information We May Collect
When you contact the clinic, register, book, attend an appointment, or use the website, we may collect information such as your name, contact details, date of birth, health card information, appointment details, medical history, test and referral information, billing information, and messages you send to the clinic.
How We Use Information
Information is used to provide healthcare services, confirm identity, communicate with patients, arrange appointments, coordinate referrals and tests, manage clinic operations, support billing and payment, meet legal and regulatory obligations, and respond to patient requests.
Disclosure and Care Coordination
We may share personal health information with healthcare providers and organizations involved in your care, such as laboratories, specialists, pharmacies, hospitals, or other care partners, where permitted or required. We may also disclose information when required by law, public health reporting duties, professional regulators, or other lawful authority.
Consent
In many care situations, your consent may be implied by your request for care and your interaction with the clinic. We will seek express consent where required or appropriate. You may ask questions about consent or discuss limits on sharing, subject to legal and clinical requirements.

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information from theft, loss, unauthorized access, use, disclosure, copying, modification, or disposal. Access is limited to team members and service providers who need it for authorized clinic purposes.
Access and Correction
You may request access to your personal health information or ask for a correction if you believe information in your record is inaccurate or incomplete. Requests are handled in accordance with applicable law and may require identity verification.
