Dr. Adnan Musarraf
Family Physician | CCFP | MRCGP | MRCS | DFSEM | PGCert (ME)

Dr. Adnan Musarraf is a highly qualified Family Physician dedicated to delivering comprehensive, compassionate, and culturally responsive care to the Scarborough community. With extensive clinical experience in both Canada and the United Kingdom, he combines international expertise with a modern, patient-centred approach to family medicine.

Dr. Adnan practices seven days a week at Danton Medical Clinic, ensuring accessible care for busy families, working professionals, seniors, and newcomers. His UK experience includes positions at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital and Royal Liverpool University Hospital, where he gained broad exposure to complex medical and surgical care. At Beech Hill Medical Practice, he was working as a family physician along with that he performed minor surgical procedures, joint injections, and comprehensive medical assessments.

He holds Certification from the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP) and Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP). He also completed a Diploma in Sport and Exercise Medicine (DFSEM) from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, and holds Membership of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (MRCS).

He is dedicated to provide family medicine services to Scarborough Community.

Dr. Adnan offers enhanced procedural and musculoskeletal services within a family practice setting, including:

• Chronic disease management (diabetes, hypertension, asthma, heart disease)
• Preventive health screening and comprehensive physical exams
• Joint injections for arthritis and sports injuries
• Minor surgical procedures
• Skin lesion assessment
• Sports and exercise medicine consultations

His sports medicine background is particularly valuable for active adults, young athletes, and patients with ongoing musculoskeletal concerns. Community-Focused, Multilingual Care is a key advantage of Dr. Adnan’s service.

Scarborough is one of Canada’s most diverse communities, and Dr. Adnan is proud to provide care in English, Bengali, Hindi, and Urdu, ensuring patients feel heard, respected, and understood. He is experienced in caring for newcomers, multi-generational families, and elderly patients with complex medical needs.

In addition to clinical work, Dr. Adnan has served as an OSCE Examiner at the University of Liverpool, he has achieved postgraduate certificate on medical education (PGCert ME) and has contributed to quality improvement initiatives and published research, reflecting his commitment to evidence-based, up-to-date medical care.
